As I mentioned earlier, we recently took the boys to Kansas City for a three-day, two-night mini-vacation. We stood in lines and mingled with large crowds at LEGOLand, Crown Center and a Royals game. Surprisingly though, one of our favorite activities — located just a few minutes’ walk from LEGOLand — wasn’t crowded at all.
